Order records stay with Thoughtprint. Manuscript files are kept only long enough to print.
What we keep
To fulfill book orders and maintain audit records, Thoughtprint stores order metadata (order ID, status, page count, binding format, total price, and shipping details) alongside Stripe session IDs in our database. Generated manuscript and cover PDF files are stored temporarily in encrypted object storage and automatically purged 30 days post-fulfillment.

Processes credit card transactions, billing details, and invoice records for purchases. Payment details are handled directly by Stripe in compliance with PCI-DSS standards.
Lulu Press, Inc.
Receives interior manuscript PDFs, cover spread files, and shipping addresses exclusively for printing and delivering print-on-demand books.
